Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our team at a federal medical center. As a Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and monitoring diseases using various medical imaging techniques. Your responsibilities will include:
Interpreting Medical Images: Reviewing and interpreting medical images (such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, nuclear medicine, PET, and ultrasound) to determine patient status and future medical care.
Ordering Diagnostic Imaging: Determining the exact images required for diagnosis and delivering orders to Radiological Technicians.
Image-Guided Procedures: Administering trace amounts of radioactive substances to create and enhance diagnostic images. You may also perform minimally invasive surgical techniques (such as embolization, angioplasty, and ablation) with image guidance.
Collaboration: Working closely with Primary Care Doctors, Nurses, and Radiology Technicians to administer treatment and manage pain.
Cancer Treatment Planning: Creating radiation treatment plans for patients with cancer and managing radiation side effects.
Qualifications:
Board Certification: You must be Board Certified in Radiology.
Medical License: You must be licensed to practice medicine in the United States or its territories.
Willingness to Relocate: The ideal candidate should be open to relocation.
